Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean surfaces using abrasive blasting, including grit, shot, or other blasting media, according to project requirements.
• Inspect surfaces for cleanliness, profile, and suitability for coatings application.
• Operate and maintain blasting equipment, including compressors, blast pots, and hoses.
• Follow strict health, safety, and environmental procedures, including the use of PPE and containment systems.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Proven experience in abrasive blasting, ideally in marine, or industrial environments.
• Ability to operate and maintain blasting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong awareness of health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
• Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces, at height, and in various environmental conditions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

 Hours / Duration 

• Minimum 37.5 Hours Per Week
• EFW Shutdowns: 12 Hours Per Day
• More than likely a months work on and off shutdowns probably finish around mid October.

Qualifications

• ICATS of TTP
• Minimum 2 Years Experience
