Sheet Metal Worker

Location: Wesseling, Cologne, Germany
Hours: Monday to Saturday, 10 hours per day (60 hours per week)
Accommodation: Provided if required
Per Diem: €30 per day for meals

We are currently recruiting experienced Sheet Metal Workers for an industrial project in Wesseling, near Cologne, Germany.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the preparation and installation of stainless-steel cladding systems on an industrial project. The role requires strong experience working with stainless steel, including measuring, cutting, forming and fixing materials to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

The role will involve installing stainless-steel cladding to external ducting systems, preparing substrates and fixing points, and accurately measuring, cutting and forming stainless-steel cladding to suit the installation.

You will also be responsible for installing trims and ensuring a high-quality, waterproof finish. Candidates will be expected to maintain a safe and tidy working environment throughout the project and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sheet metal installation on construction sites.
• Essential experience working with stainless steel.
• Ability to form stainless-steel sheets to a high standard.
• Understanding of cladding support structures.
• Ability to work independently and without constant supervision.
• Experience working in a fast-paced industrial or construction environment.
• Recognised apprenticeship in sheet metal work and/or fabrication.
• Valid site-working certificates, such as SCC or an equivalent qualification.

Additional Information

Texo will have personnel on site to manage the overall project, while all required materials and tools will be provided.

Accommodation will be provided if required, along with a €30 per day meal allowance.

This is a 60-hour-per-week position, working Monday to Saturday with Sundays off.
