Receptionist front of house
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Site Support Team Member to join our team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be a key point of contact for visitors and staff, helping to create a welcoming, professional environment and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the site. Your support will play an important part in delivering a positive experience for all guests and colleagues.
This is a temporary assignment with set cover dates.
Induction & Training: Monday 16th February at 11:00am
Cover Dates
Induction on Friday 20th OR Monday 23rd March
June 2026:
8th to 12th and 15th June
Location: West George Street, Glasgow, G2 2JJ
Hours
Monday to Friday
08:00 - 17:00
Includes 1-hour paid lunch break (9 paid hours per day)
Rate of Pay: £14.50 ( PAYE )
Key Responsibilities
" Provide front-of-house support and reception-style duties
" Carry out opening duties each morning
" Maintain general office areas and kitchen supplies
" Greet visitors, manage sign-in procedures, and issue visitor passes
" Prepare and serve refreshments for meetings and guests
" Set up and rearrange meeting rooms (light manual handling required)
" Manage incoming and outgoing post securely and efficiently
" Offer ad hoc administrative and site support as required
" Build positive working relationships with staff and visitors through a friendly and professional approach
Requirements
" Previous customer service experience, ideally within a corporate or office environment
" Excellent communication skills and strong spoken English
" Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced setting
" Good organisational skills and attention to detail
" A positive attitude and commitment to high standards of customer service
Clearance Requirements
Successful applicants must be able to obtain BS Clearance prior to starting. This includes:
" Basic DBS check
" Full 5-year employment history (any gaps must be supported by a reference)
" Copies of relevant education certificates
