Quality Engineer
Location: Reading
Industry: Nuclear

Hours: 40 per week
Working Pattern: 8:30am – 5:00pm (30-minute break)
Contract Type: Short-term requirement

Role Overview

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support a nuclear project in Reading on a short-term basis. The role will cover the full project lifecycle, from initial kick-off through to final completion, ensuring all quality assurance requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve procedures and documentation in line with QC1 requirements

• Carry out quality control inspections in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)

• Ongoing review and final acceptance of Lifetime Records (LTRs)

• Conduct final release inspections

• Witness testing activities as required

• Attend and contribute to relevant project and quality meetings

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a nuclear or highly regulated environment

• Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control processes

• SC Security Clearance is required
