Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for qualified Platers with Rope Access Level 1 or 2 (IRATA) certification for an upcoming offshore project mobilising on 18th August 2025 and demobilising on 8th September 2025.

The successful candidates will be responsible for structural fabrication and plating activities carried out at height using rope access techniques. All work must be performed safely, efficiently, and in line with offshore standards.

Requirements:

• IRATA Rope Access Level 1 or 2 – Valid and in date

• Recognised Plating/Fabrication apprenticeship or trade papers

• Offshore survival and medical certificates – BOSIET/FOET & OGUK Medical

• Strong experience in offshore structural plating/fabrication

• Ability to interpret and work from fabrication drawings

• Confident working at height and in challenging offshore environments

Desirable:

• Previous offshore rope access plating experience

• Familiarity with hot work procedures and permit-to-work systems

• Competence in oxy-fuel cutting, grinding, and basic fabrication techniques

• Good teamwork and communication skills

Rate:

Competitive day rate (to be confirmed upon application)
