Job Description:

The purpose of the role is:

  • The purpose of the post is to support the administration of all HR processes within the People Centre in line with agreed standards and timescales.
  • To provide excellent customer service at all times in line with the Clients Purpose and Principles
  • To update, manage and control data for the HR systems with upmost accuracy.

EMPLOYEE tasks and responsibilities are to support the business and the People Centre teams in the following areas:

To support the administration of all HR processes within the People Centre in line with agreed standards and timescales.

-       Maintaining the highest level of accuracy and customer service

-       Support in line with the Client's Purpose and Principles

-       Ensure data is held, processed and maintained in line with GDPR    legislation

To update data for the HR systems within the business

-       update data in accordance with process and timescales

-       ensure data is correct, approved and validated in support of the business

-       ensure data is controlled in line with Data Protection Act 

Ensuring compliance of the company’s policies and procedures


-       Support the Devonport Site Accident Emergency arrangements as required. (Devonport Location only)

-       Undertake any other reasonable duties within their competence


Qualifications and Experience Requirements


·        Hold NVQ Level 2 in Administration or equivalent experience

·        5 GCSE’s including English and Mathematics


·        Methodical and organised and ability to use own initiative

·        Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of employees, managers and external customers

·        Customer focused

·        Understanding of HR functions and best practices.


·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Works well under pressure and can meet tight deadlines whilst being able to adapt to changing priorities.

·         Fantastic organizational and time management skills.

·         Highly computer literate with capability in Outlook, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
