Painters, Blasters & Sprayers – Long-Term Contract Work
Location: Barrow-in-Furness Shipyard
Start Date: Subject to obtaining security clearance
Qualifications Required: TTP or ICATS

We have ongoing requirements for experienced Painters, Blasters and Sprayers to join the team at the Barrow-in-Furness Shipyard. This is an excellent long-term contract opportunity with competitive CIS pay rates.

Security Clearance:
SC Clearance is required for this role and will be processed for you.
While your clearance is pending, interim work is available at Scotstoun once your BPSS paperwork for Barrow has been submitted and approved.

CIS Pay Rates

• Standard: £21.50

• OT1: £25.00

• OT2: £32.00

• Nightshift: £30.00
  (Lodge allowance is included in the rate.)

All new starters will begin on Dayshift, with the option to move to Nightshift after onboarding.

Shift Pattern: 12 ON / 2 OFF

Week 1 (7 days):

• Monday–Thursday: 8.5 basic hours

• Friday: 5 basic hours

• Saturday & Sunday: 8 hours

Week 2 (5 days):

• Monday–Thursday: 8.5 basic hours

• Friday: 5 basic hours

Basic Hours

• Monday–Thursday: 7:30am–4:30pm (OT1 after 4:30pm)

• Friday: 7:30am–12:30pm (OT1 after 12:30pm)

• Saturday: OT1 for the first 4 hours, OT2 for additional hours

• Sunday: OT2
