About the Role

We are looking for an experienced NDT Inspector with strong expertise in AUT validation of girth welds to join our project team in Romania. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring weld integrity and compliance through advanced inspection techniques, supporting the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform AUT validation of girth welds, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality requirements.

• Apply PAUT (Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing) and TOFD (Time of Flight Diffraction) techniques with precision and accuracy.

• Conduct inspections on both ‘J’ and ‘X’ bevel preparations.

• Ensure inspection results are accurately documented, interpreted, and reported.

• Collaborate with project teams to resolve non-conformances and provide technical input on weld quality.

• Maintain compliance with industry standards, codes, and client specifications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Proven experience in AUT validation of girth welds.

• Practical expertise in both ‘J’ and ‘X’ bevel preparations.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with PAUT and TOFD techniques.

• Relevant NDT certifications (ISO 9712, ASNT, or equivalent).

• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
