Job Title: Mechanical Technician – DTL Damper Servicing
Location: Burton (Derby area), UK
Start Date: 21st June 2025
Duration: 3–5 days (with potential extension)
Hours per Week: Standard day shifts
Vacancies: 1
Rate: £28 per hour (Ltd/Umbrella)

Land & Sea Resources is a trusted recruitment partner within the energy and engineering sectors, providing skilled professionals to leading clients for onshore and offshore projects. We are currently supporting a long-standing client on a short-term mechanical scope in the Derby area.

Job Overview

We are seeking a mechanical technician for a short-term assignment near Burton (Derby area), supporting a small team on mechanical servicing of DTL dampers. This role is ideal for a candidate with hands-on mechanical experience, preferably with industrial or HVAC knowledge, and the required safety certifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical servicing and support on DTL dampers

  • Assist the team with general mechanical tasks as required

  • Adhere to site safety protocols and company procedures

  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

  • Report progress and any issues to site supervisors

Required Certifications

  • CCNSG Safety Passport or CSCS Card (valid and in date)

  • Proof of mechanical experience (CV with references preferred)

Work Schedule

  • Start Date: Saturday 21st June 2025

  • Duration: 3–5 days (with the possibility of extension)

  • Hours: Standard day shifts (exact hours to be confirmed)

  • Accommodation/Travel: Not provided – candidates must be local or based nearby

Please note: Due to the short-term nature of the work, candidates based outside the local region (e.g. Scotland) will not be considered on this occasion.
