Travel Allowance £40 per day ( for candidates over 35 miles)

Travel allowance is £40 per working day, if you provide proof of address over 35 miles from site.

SC CLEARANCE PREFFERED - HOWEVER CAN BE PUT THROUGH IF SELECTED BUT THIS CAN BE UPTO A 12 WEEK PROCESS.

Description:

To undertake mechanical fitting activities, repairs and inspections on systems and equipment on all aspects of work completed within the estate and, when required, in other sections.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Completion of all planned preventative maintenance and nuclear implicated work to ensure the department meets the objectives of the business.
• Identification and rectification of all system, manufacture, defects and alterations.
• Ensure that work is carried out in line with current processes and make suggestions on improving systems and processes to increase productivity in accordance with set objectives and timescales.
• Work within all H&S legislation, Safe Systems Of Work and control of work processes within BM&T Clyde policies.

Experience and knowledge on the majority of the following:
Mechanical Systems and Equipment
Interpretation of engineering drawings
Maintenance Documentation
Risk Assessments
COSHH
Safe systems of work

Qualifications:

Recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent
Asbestos Awareness
Confined Spaces for Competent Persons
Pristine Manual Handling
