I am looking for a Mechanical Engineer/Inspector to mobilise on a one-off trip, mobilising on 15th April.

Location:

- UK North Sea (mob from Aberdeen)
- Platform - client will disclose nearer the time. UK sector, half way between Scotland and Norway.

Duration:
- Estimated 3 days offshore
- Estimated 1 day mobilisation/demobilisation
- 1 day preparation: ½ day for client brief & ½ day (possible) absolving online HS courses of platform operator.
- Post delegation debrief for client

Task:
- To develop a concept for a hose change out in line with a re-commissioning project
- Report and photo documentation
- 2 drag chains
- Inspect chains
- Record condition of hoses in drag chain
- Comment on method, required material so client can derive recommendations
- Client will brief before assignment
- Rope access may be needed (client will clarify)

Qualifications:
- Mechanical Trade
- Platform/offshore experience
- Hydraulic/Piping experience helps.

CERTS:
- Typical O/S certs (Vantage, Medical, BOSIET, HUET, FOET etc.) plus trade certs and in-date CV.
- There may be operator specific online courses to absolve before assignment

RATE:
-Offshore day rate
- Travel/Prep/Brief day rate
- Reasonable travel expenses paid
