Our core ser­vices in­clude in­su­la­tion, ac­cess solu­tions, sur­face pro­tec­tion, pass­ive fire pro­tec­tion, elec­tro-/​mech­an­ical- and spe­cial­ised ser­vices as well as in­terior out­fit­ting.

Job Summary Overview

We are recruiting for 2025 Outage works and beyond throughout 2025.

  • 20 Insulators
  • 8 Labourers
  • Insulator Supervision for outages from mid-March through to September, with works ongoing to the end of the year.

However, we would be looking to start Insulators straight away as our client currently has a lot of works in the region.

Start ASAP

Locations

Seabank Power Station Avonmouth - Outage starts on 1st April. However, Pre-Outage works will start from 17th March and run through until September. Looking to start building up numbers of Insulators and Labourers from 17th March.

The labouring team on this outage is important so we are looking for good, reliable, experienced labourers.

DOW Site Barry South Wales - Outage Starts on May 1st and runs through to August.

With Outages on VALERO and Project works on South Hook, we have consistent works right through to end of year. (Currently looking for insulators for Outages and long-term maintenance works)

Rates

Insulators: Grade 5

  • Rate: PAYE
  • Basic Rate:  £22.44ph
  • £0.74ph – 2nd Tier uplift – on Basic Hours worked
  • £2.37ph – Outages Uplift – on Basic Hours worked

Insulator Charge Hand: Grade 6

  • Rate: PAYE
  • Basic Rate: £23.38ph
  • £ 0.74ph – 2nd Tier uplift – on Basic Hours worked
  • £2.37ph – Outages Uplift – on Basic Hours worked

Labourer: Grade 2

  • Rate: PAYE
  • Basic Rate: £16.01ph
  • £ 0.74ph – 2nd Tier uplift – on Basic Hours worked
  • £2.37ph – Outages Uplift – on Basic Hours worked

Lodge Allowance for Insulators and Labourers

£50.81 per day

Travel Allowance: Every 4 Weeks

Home Postcode to Site and 2nd Class Rail Fare

Hours:

7-10 hrs a day

Every 14th day off

PPE: Provided by client

Candidate to bring own tools

Certificates: Insulators

TICA Card

Certificates: Labourers

CSCS Labour Card and ideally Confined Space but not essential as our client can provide this.
