Our client provides framework and term contracts to the nuclear shipbuilding industry for various maintenance, refurbishment and construction projects.

Job Summary or Overview

We are seeking experienced joiners to join our team for 6 months work. The weekly hours will vary from 40 to 70 hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble containers - 2 x 2 Ply Work
• Perform joinery tasks with precision, ensuring all measurements are accurate.
• Use hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Proficient in Joinery techniques with experience in woodworking.
• Competent in using hand tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
• Capable of heavy lifting.
• Basic masonry skills are a plus for supporting construction efforts.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site

Qualifications / Documents Required :

• Level 2 NVQ - Joinery
• Valid Passport or Driving Licence / Provisional
• HMRC 5 Year Working History
• DBS ( 6 Months in Date )

Work Schedule/Hours

• Monday -Thursday: 7.30am – 4.30pm OT1 after that.
• Friday: Basic 7.30am -12.30pm / OT1 after that
• Saturday: OT1 first 4 hours / OT2 for any following hours
• Sunday Overtime: OT2

Rate

• £20 per hour CIS/Umbrella
• Overtime 1 £25.00
• Overtime 2 £32.00

You will be responsible for your own travel and accommodation.
