Job Description:

Job Title: Rope Access Instrument Pipefitter (Level 1 or 2)
Location: Offshore
Mobilisation Date: 18/08/2025
Demobilisation Date: 08/09/2025
Duration: Approx. 3 weeks
Rotation: N/A (single trip)


Job Description:

We are currently seeking experienced Instrument Pipefitters with Rope Access Level 1 or 2 (IRATA) certification for an upcoming offshore project mobilising on 18th August 2025 and demobilising on 8th September 2025.

The role involves the installation and maintenance of small bore tubing and associated instrumentation pipework, often carried out at height. Candidates must be comfortable working in rope access environments and must hold all required trade and offshore certifications.


Essential Requirements:

  • IRATA Rope Access Level 1 or 2 – Valid and in date

  • Recognised Apprenticeship Papers in Instrument Pipefitting or similar

  • TSBT-01 & TSBT-02 certifications – Valid and in date

  • Offshore survival and medical certificates – BOSIET/FOET & OGUK Medical

  • Proven offshore experience as an Instrument Pipefitter

  • Strong understanding of tubing systems, isometric drawings, and P&IDs

  • Ability to safely perform installation and repair of small bore tubing (typically 316 SS) while working at height


Desirable:

  • Previous experience conducting rope access instrumentation work

  • Familiarity with pneumatic/hydrostatic leak testing procedures

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team


Rate:

Competitive day rate (to be discussed upon application)
