We’re Hiring: HSEQ Advisor – Barrow-in-Furness

We’re seeking an experienced Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality (HSEQ) Advisor to join a project team in Barrow-in-Furness. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact while supporting operational excellence and driving business development in the region.

Salary: £60,000+
Location: Barrow-in-Furness

About the Role
The HSEQ Advisor will ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and client requirements, while promoting a strong culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility. Alongside your HSEQ responsibilities, you will also explore and develop business opportunities within the Barrow site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor HSEQ systems to ensure compliance with policies, legislation, and client standards.

• Conduct audits, reviews, and risk assessments to drive continual improvement.

• Support project teams and site personnel in applying effective HSEQ practices.

• Lead safety campaigns, awareness initiatives, and monthly workforce meetings.

• Prepare project-specific HSEQ documentation and reporting for trend analysis.

• Explore and develop new business opportunities in the Barrow-in-Furness area.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in an HSEQ role, ideally in industrial or project-based environments.

• Strong knowledge of compliance, auditing, and risk assessment processes.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to influence positive change.
