GWO Electrical Technician – Walney 3 Wind Farm

We are currently recruiting for 2 x GWO Electrical Technicians to work on the Walney 3 Wind Farm, based in Barrow-in-Furness.

The successful candidates will be responsible for Nav-Aid inspection and maintenance, so previous experience in this type of role is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out Nav-Aid inspection and maintenance activities.
• Complete electrical maintenance and inspection work to the required standards.
• Work safely within an offshore wind environment.
• Follow site procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.

Requirements

Candidates must have:

• Previous experience in Nav-Aid inspection and maintenance.
• An electrical qualification or recognised apprenticeship.
• GWO First Aid at Work.
• GWO Working at Heights.
• GWO Sea Survival.
• GWO Manual Handling.
• GWO Fire Awareness.
• Valid Offshore Medical with Drug & Alcohol Screening.
• Chester Step certification.
