Aftermarket Service Manager

Our client is a global leader in flow control and isolation damper valves, specialising in complex, bespoke high-temperature solutions for critical applications. They support a wide range of industries including Power Generation, Carbon Capture, Oil & Gas, and Marine, with a strong focus on innovation, quality, and engineering excellence.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Manager with a strong engineering background to lead and develop the site service team. This is a key position responsible for ensuring site service operations are successfully sold, planned, and delivered to meet customer expectations.

You will play a central role in managing projects, supporting customers, and overseeing service delivery across a range of industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the site service team
• Provide technical support, site surveys, estimating, and quotations
• Plan and deliver inspection, maintenance, and upgrade projects
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments
• Manage site-based contracts and project execution
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, and site personnel

About You

• ONC / Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar)
• Proven experience in a similar role within an engineering environment
• Background in Power Generation, Oil & Gas, or related industries (preferred)
• Strong understanding of industrial installation, maintenance, and construction workflows
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams on active sites
• Knowledge of site safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges
• Hands-on or supervisory experience in installation, retrofit, or maintenance projects

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally, including offshore
• Ability to complete required offshore training
