Job Description:

YOUR ROLE:

The Document Controller is responsible for the information flow between all internal and external parties, in accordance with the requirements of the project contract and work instructions.

This role is reporting to the Project Director.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and write Document Control work instructions and procedures.
  • Create and maintain correspondence register with each stakeholder.
  • Supervise the day-to-day activities in Document Control.
  • Resolve system issues/discrepancies and actively chase individuals to resolve problems.
  • Liaise with the project team, project management and site construction team daily.
  • Support the client and external vendors.
  • Prepare and develop the project MDR.
  • Set-up document workflows and approvals.
  • Communication and training to internal disciplines to understand the project documentation requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a counter claim register for each counter party under the guidelines of the Project Director, Project Control Director, and Contract Senior expert.
  • Produce regular status reports for the project team including KPIs for answer delay.
  • Work closely with the wider project teams to support project documentation requirements.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • High school diploma
  • 5+ years relevant experience in an EPC environment.
  • Extensive working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products,
  • A working knowledge of Aconex would be desirable.
  • Able to respond with urgency to solve problems as they emerge, Able to work under high pressure.
  • Solid experience in a similar role, ideally in the context of Chemistry or Oil & Gas, Process Engineering and/or Construction
  • Solid network with the respective authorities and notified bodies is mandatory.
  • Effective communication and coordination with the wider project team
  • Perfect German and English language skills are required.
