Job Description:

Position: Commissioning Manager – Electronic Security Systems
Location: Burghfield, Berkshire
Start Date: 23/06/2025
Duration: Until 31/03/2026
Hours per Week: 47.5
Security Clearance: SC or DV (must be current or obtainable)

Company Information

Our client is delivering one of the most complex and high-profile nuclear defence projects in the UK, and we are seeking a skilled Commissioning Manager to join the team. This site-based role is a great opportunity to bring your expertise in electronic security systems to a long-term, critical infrastructure programme.

Required Qualifications/Skills

  • Substantial experience commissioning large facilities, particularly in Electronic Security Systems

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise security systems (card access control, CCTV, intruder detection, perimeter intrusion detection)

  • Background in design and delivery of complex electronic security systems

  • Proven track record in commissioning roles within defence or highly regulated sectors

  • Strong stakeholder management and technical documentation review skills

  • Demonstrable experience in planning, execution, and coordination of commissioning work packages

  • Degree-qualified (or equivalent relevant work experience)

  • Must hold or be eligible to obtain current SC (Security Check) or DV (Developed Vetting) clearance

Work Schedule/Hours

  • 47.5 hours per week

  • Monday to Friday

  • On-site presence required (Burghfield)

Rate and Hours

  • Competitive rates offered – PAYE

  • Rate dependent on experience – please include your expected rate upon application
