Civil & Structural Inspector

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Civil & Structural Inspector to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and verifying civil, structural and concrete construction activities to ensure all works are completed to the required standards and specifications.

The Role

The Civil & Structural Inspector will carry out inspection, surveillance and verification of construction works, ensuring activities are completed in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable codes and standards, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and client requirements.

The role will involve monitoring construction activities, identifying any potential issues or non-conformances and helping to ensure that works are completed correctly and in line with the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor civil, structural and concrete construction activities.
• Verify works against approved drawings, project specifications and applicable standards.
• Carry out surveillance and inspection activities in accordance with ITPs.
• Identify and report non-conformances and ensure issues are appropriately addressed.
• Ensure construction activities meet client and project requirements.
• Maintain accurate inspection and quality records.
• Work closely with construction and quality teams to ensure compliance throughout the project.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in civil/structural inspection.
• Strong experience inspecting civil, structural and concrete construction works.
• Good understanding of construction specifications, drawings, ITPs, codes and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential quality issues.
• Experience working within a construction/project environment.
