Asset Integrity Compliance & Systems Specialist

Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Contract: 2+ Year Contract
Working Pattern: Hybrid (4 Days Office / 1 Day Home)
Start Date: ASAP

Land & Sea Resources are currently recruiting for an Asset Integrity Compliance & Systems Specialist on behalf of Spirit Energy to join their Asset Integrity team.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving asset integrity systems during the final operational phase of the Morecambe Hub. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with UK regulations and industry standards while supporting digital transformation, Risk Based Inspection (RBI) programmes, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, compliance, and asset performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve the Asset Integrity Management System.
  • Lead the optimisation of Risk Based Inspection (RBI) programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with UK legislation, industry standards, and company procedures.
  • Manage integrity management systems, including SAP and Inspection Data Management Systems (IDMS).
  • Support digital transformation projects to improve inspection, reporting, and asset integrity processes.
  • Develop and maintain integrity procedures, standards, and technical documentation.
  • Produce integrity performance reports and dashboards to monitor compliance and risk.
  • Support Management of Change (MoC) activities relating to integrity systems and inspection methodologies.
  • Evaluate and implement new inspection technologies and digital solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineering, maintenance, and operations teams while promoting continuous improvement across the Asset Integrity function.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline.
  • Experience in Asset Integrity Management and Risk Based Inspection (RBI).
  • Strong knowledge of UK offshore integrity legislation, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Experience managing integrity management systems, SAP, and Inspection Data Management Systems (IDMS).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret engineering and integrity data.
  • Experience delivering system improvements, digital solutions, and process standardisation.
  • Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status (or working towards professional accreditation) is desirable.
  • Relevant asset integrity experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.

Working Arrangements

This role is based in Barrow-in-Furness.

Spirit Energy currently operates a hybrid working arrangement for office-based workers:

  • Four days per week in the office.
  • Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are mandatory office days.
  • The fourth office day can be either Monday or Friday, depending on team requirements.
  • Contractors may work in the office five days per week if preferred.

Please note:

  • No travel or accommodation allowance is available.
  • PAYE contractors only (no umbrella companies).
