Job Description:

HSEA Reporting and Systems Coordinator

Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Contract: 2+ Year Contract
Working Pattern: Hybrid (4 Days Office / 1 Day Home)
Start Date: ASAP

Land & Sea Resources are currently recruiting for a HSEA Reporting and Systems Coordinator on behalf of Spirit Energy to join their HSE team.

This is an excellent opportunity to support the delivery of HSE reporting, systems management, and assurance activities during the final operational phase of the Morecambe Hub. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate HSE data, coordinating assurance activities, and supporting the continuous improvement of HSE systems and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual HSE reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Calculate and monitor HSE performance KPIs, including LTIF, TRIF, and RIDDOR reporting.
  • Manage manhour reporting, forecasting, and verification.
  • Provide HSE data analysis and reporting support across the business.
  • Coordinate industry benchmarking submissions with OEUK and IOGP.
  • Manage HSE systems, including myHSES, observation reporting, and the Sevron COSHH management system.
  • Coordinate 2nd Line of Defence assurance activities, including audits, documentation, action tracking, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support 3rd Line of Defence assurance activities.
  • Maintain HSE SAP processes, including PR, PO, and SES management.
  • Support continuous improvement of HSE reporting, Power BI dashboards, and action management processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in HSE reporting, systems coordination, or a similar administrative or analytical role.
  • Good understanding of HSE management principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and identify trends.
  • Experience using business systems such as SAP, HSE reporting systems, or audit management systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • College-level qualification as a minimum.
  • NEBOSH qualification preferred.
  • Experience within the energy industry is advantageous but not essential.

Working Arrangements

This role is based in Barrow-in-Furness.

Spirit Energy currently operates a hybrid working arrangement for office-based workers:

  • Four days per week in the office.
  • Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are mandatory office days.
  • The fourth office day can be either Monday or Friday, depending on team requirements.
  • Contractors may work in the office five days per week if preferred.

Please note:

  • No travel or accommodation allowance is available.
  • PAYE contractors only (no umbrella companies).
