HSE Advisor Onshore

Working Pattern: Hybrid (4 days office-based, Tuesday to Thursday mandatory)

Land & Sea Resources are recruiting on behalf of Spirit Energy for an experienced HSE Advisor Onshore to join their HSE team. This opportunity will support the Morecambe Hub through to the planned cessation of production.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of HSE, you will provide direct HSE support, guidance, and challenge to operational teams, helping to drive a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance across the Morecambe Hub assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote a positive HSE culture through visible leadership and engagement
• Deliver HSE training, audits, incident investigations, and best practice guidance
• Monitor HSE performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Support emergency response planning and exercises
• Prepare for regulatory inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with all requirements
• Review work packs and support safe operational delivery
• Lead incident investigations using Kelvin TopSet methodologies
• Engage with contractors and stakeholders to ensure HSE expectations are understood and achieved

Requirements

• Previous experience in an HSE role within operational or technical environments
• Strong understanding of risk management, compliance, and emergency response processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with regulators and audit bodies

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum (Diploma preferred)
• IOSH membership, or working towards professional membership
• Offshore BOSIET and Medical certification
• Kelvin TopSet investigation training desirable
