Site Support Team Member (Temporary)

Job Overview

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Site Support Team Member to join our team on a temporary basis. This front-of-house role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in creating a welcoming, well-organised workplace.

You’ll be a key point of contact for both visitors and staff, supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the site and helping to ensure a positive experience for everyone on site.

This is a temporary assignment with fixed cover dates.

Location

West George Street, Glasgow, G2 2JJ


Hours

Monday to Friday
08:00 – 17:00
Includes 1-hour paid lunch break (9 paid hours per day)


Pay

£14.50 per hour (PAYE)


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front-of-house and reception support

  • Complete daily opening duties

  • Maintain general office areas and manage kitchen supplies

  • Welcome visitors, oversee sign-in procedures, and issue visitor passes

  • Prepare and serve refreshments for meetings and guests

  • Set up and reconfigure meeting rooms (light manual handling involved)

  • Handle incoming and outgoing post securely and efficiently

  • Offer ad hoc administrative and site support as required

  • Build strong working relationships through a friendly, professional approach


What We’re Looking For

  • Previous customer service experience, ideally in a corporate or office environment

  • Excellent communication skills and confident spoken English

  • Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced setting

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • A positive attitude and commitment to delivering high standards of service


Clearance Requirements

Successful applicants must be able to obtain BS Clearance prior to starting, which includes:

  • A Basic DBS check

  • A full 5-year employment history (with references to support any gaps)

  • Copies of relevant education certificates
