Storeman – Warehouse & Inventory

Job Purpose
We are seeking a reliable Storeman to manage and maintain inventory levels of consumables and paint products. This role is key to supporting smooth operational delivery through accurate stock control, efficient issuing of materials, and maintaining a safe, organised warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Management

• Issue consumables and paint products to operational teams and contractors as required

• Ensure correct quantities are issued for each job

• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies

• Support stock replenishment and reordering when required

Inventory Control & Stock Takes

• Carry out regular stock checks and audits

• Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock movements and deliveries

• Investigate and report discrepancies, ensuring corrective actions are taken

Customer Service & Communication

• Provide efficient, professional service to internal teams and contractors

• Communicate clearly regarding stock availability and delivery times

• Maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times

Health & Safety

• Follow all health and safety procedures and site guidelines

• Safely handle and store hazardous materials, including paints and chemicals

• Report any safety issues or incidents promptly

Pay Rates (Umbrella)

• Basic: £16 per hour

• OT1: £20 per hour

• OT2: £28 per hour

Working Hours

• Monday–Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm (OT1 thereafter)

• Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm (OT1 thereafter)

• Saturday: First 4 hours OT1, remaining hours OT2

• Sunday: OT2
