Industrial Painters / Blasters / Sprayers

Location: Barrow-in-Furness 
Employment Type: Ongoing PAYE Position

On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting experienced Industrial Painters, Blasters and Sprayers for ongoing work based in Barrow-in-Furness.

This is a long-term PAYE opportunity offering consistent work and structured rotations.

Role Details

Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Start Date: Subject to obtaining Security Clearance
Security Clearance: Required (Applicants must be born in the UK)

Pay Rates (PAYE)

• Basic: £17.64 per hour

• Overtime 1: £26.47 per hour

• Overtime 2: £35.29 per hour

• Nightshift: £26.73 per hour

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm (OT1 thereafter)
Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm basic / OT1 after
Saturday: OT1 for first 4 hours / OT2 thereafter
Sunday: OT2

Travel and Accommodation Allowance

To qualify, candidates must live more than 45 miles from site. Proof of address will be required.

• Travel Allowance: £50.00 per week

• Accommodation Allowance: £367.50 per week

To receive full allowances, candidates must complete the full 12 on / 2 off rotation:

Week 1

7 days worked
8.5 hours basic Monday – Thursday
5 hours Friday
8 hours Saturday and Sunday

Week 2

5 days worked
8.5 hours basic Monday – Thursday
5 hours Friday

If there is any sickness, unauthorised absence, or more than 1 day of holiday taken during the rotation, allowances revert to:

• £7.14 travel per shift worked

• £52.50 accommodation per shift worked

There are no exceptions to this policy.

Holiday Entitlement

• 30 days per year (pro rata)

• Holiday year runs January to December

• Includes Bank Holidays
